Iran launched back-to-back ballistic missile barrages at Israel, triggering red alx sirens across Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, central Israel and parts of the northern West Bank. Residents scrambled into bomb shelters as the IDF confirmed multiple missile salvos detected from Iranian territory. Explosions were reported in Jerusalem, though emergency service Magen David Adom said no casualties were recorded in the latest wave.

The Israel Defense Forces said its air defense systems were actively intercepting incoming threats and later allowed civilians to leave shelters after the third overnight barrage.
As Iran fired, Israel struck back hard. The IDF announced a new “wave of strikes” across Tehran, targeting Iranian military infrastructure, command centers, ballistic missile systems, and nuclear-related facilities. Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin claimed roughly 300 Iranian defense systems and missiles have been destroyed so far.
